I am a PhD Student in Economics at the University of Chicago. My research interests are economic growth, firm dynamics, competition, and machine learning in economics.
My current work uses publication, patent, and firm-level data to study innovation and competition. I am also interested in how machine-learning methods can help construct new economic measures from large, unstructured datasets.
